Eating food, not only needed for survival but a favorite activity. We go out to eat and we are thinking about the company we are keeping and the food that is coming. Rarely do we consider the culinary artists that create the beautiful satisfying master pieces delivered to our tables. This week we would like to highlight one of these artists Kris Fuller of Crafted: The Art of the Taco in Greensboro North Carolina. Being a chef is not just a job for artists like Kris, it is so much more than that expressed this in her body art. With tattoos that are acronyms like IPF (It’s Probably Fine) when it gets so busy you feel like the house is going down, to something going exactly how it should or even better. When things go right she says IKTR [I Know That’s (Dats) Right]. Then there are the less obvious and more symbolic hand tattoos that give a nod to her coming in to her own at this craft. Strategically placed on the hands that to the work to create the aesthetically pleasing and mouthwatering entrees. On one hand is the diamond for the level of precise skill she has developed and on the other is an anchor speaking out about the solid tether to this career she is so clearly meant to be in. So the next time you find yourself in Greensboro, North Carolina enjoy a savory masterpiece by Kris at Crafted: The Art of the Taco.
